Peter M. Loomer

Dr. Peter M. Loomer is currently the Dean of the School of Dentistry at UT Health San Antonio. Prior to this, they served as Clin Professor and Chair at New York University from June 2013 to January 2019. Dr. Loomer has also been a Professor of Clin Periodontology at UCSF from October 1998 to June 2013, and an Assistant Professor at The University of British Columbia from July 1996 to October 1998.

Peter M. Loomer attended Vanier College for their CEGEP, then went on to the University of Toronto for their Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences. From there, they attended the University of Toronto for their Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After that, they completed their Diploma in Periodontics from the University of Toronto. Lastly, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Oral Biology from the University of Toronto.

Peter M. Loomer works with Heather Adkins - Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Yeman Collier - Vice President and Chief Information Officer, and Andrea Giuffrida - Vice President for Strategic Industry Ventures. Their manager is William L. Henrich, President.
