Ian McDougal is an experienced IT professional currently serving as an IT Junior System Administrator at Utah Community Action since January 2016. In this role, Ian has enhanced business continuity through the deployment of a Hyper-V Failover Cluster and the development of IT risk policies. Ian is responsible for data security for approximately 60 servers, utilizing Veeam and Druva for backups. Previously, as an Information Technology Support Specialist, Ian implemented ticketing and inventory systems and co-developed a deployment process for laptop imaging. Ian also has experience as a Program Specialist, where processes for online applications were created, and support was provided to clients in crisis. Ian's earlier experience includes managing a music lab at Snow College and working as a teller at Jordan Federal Credit Union. Ian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commercial Music from Snow College.

Founded in 1965, our organization has expanded our service area and services over the years to best serve our clients. In 2018, we served over 50,000 individuals living in poverty in Utah.
