Shakil Mahmud

Shakil Mahmud is an experienced professional in the textile and merchandising industry, currently serving as Assistant Manager at Utah Group of Companies since February 2020, where responsibilities include following buyers for Carrefour. Prior to this, Shakil worked as Senior Merchandiser at Palmal Group of Industries Ltd. from August 2015 to February 2020, managing relationships with Meijer in the USA. Earlier experience includes positions as Merchandiser at knit Plus Ltd. for Zlabels GmbH in Germany and Assistant Merchandiser at Euro Arte Apparels Ltd. for Meijer (woven). Shakil holds an EMBA in Marketing from Uttara University and a Bachelor of Science in Textile Engineering from Daffodil International University, along with earlier academic qualifications in science from Rajendrapure Cantonment Public School & College and Baliady High School.
