Cathy Evans is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various accounting roles. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at Utah Housing Corporation since July 2018, Cathy previously held the position of Controller at The Summit Group for five years. Additional experience includes accounting roles at Excel Entertainment and Sinclair Oil, as well as managing household finances as a Stay at Home Mom for over a decade. Cathy began their career as an Accountant at Emergency Essentials® and has held multiple accounting positions since 1991. Cathy holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University, earned between 1988 and 1992, and a high school diploma from Meridian High School.

Utah Housing Corporation, was created as a public corporation by State legislation in 1975 to raise funds to assist in the creation of affordable housing opportunities for lower-income Utah households. Principally, UHC provides mortgage money to qualifying first time homebuyers as well as resources to developers building or renovating affordable apartment projects. In addition, UHC assumes several roles ranging from lender to developer in creating solutions for difficult housing problems.
