Lindsey Thurgood currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Utah Legal Services, a position held since December 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Dean of Students at Stevens-Henager College and Assistant Dean at Western Governors University, where responsibilities encompassed program management for the College of Business, overseeing faculty and a substantial number of undergraduate students. Additionally, Lindsey held various roles in educational administration at Utah State University and the University of Utah, contributing to student services and programming initiatives. Academic qualifications include a Doctorate in Business Administration from California Southern University and a PhD in Educational Research and Policy from Utah State University, complemented by a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.

We provide free legal services to low-income Utahns who qualify. We receive funding to help domestic violence survivors, tenants in housing cases, and those who need public benefits. We can also help Native Americans, senior citizens, migrant farm workers, and some individuals who qualify for expungement of their criminal record.
