L. Bruce Christensen has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. L. Bruce started working at Eaton Kenway in 1988 as a Software Engineer where they successfully installed and configured SCO UNIX and proprietary software to control AGVs, resulting in the acquisition of three new jobs worth over $2 million. In 1995, they joined Space Systems Loral as a Principal Software Engineer where they designed and wrote firmware for communication messages over a wireless CDMA telephony phone system. L. Bruce also worked on two other projects involving firmware development for different processors. In 1997, they joined Utah Scientific as a Senior Software Engineer where they created embedded C code for a processor running under the MQX operating system. This code scanned user inputs, controlled lights, and communicated with a controller over Ethernet.
L. Bruce Christensen obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Utah State University, between the years 1981 and 1988.
