Dana Sohm

Dana Sohm, M. Photog., is a seasoned photography professional with extensive experience in various roles spanning commercial and performing arts photography. As CEO and founder of Sohm Photografx since June 2002, Dana specializes in architecture and corporate portraiture, serving notable clients such as Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Crate & Barrel. In addition to commercial work, Dana has been the performing arts photographer for both Ballet West and Utah Symphony | Utah Opera since 2014 and 2013, respectively. An educator at the University of Utah's Department of Communications since August 2013, Dana teaches beginning digital photography and basic Photoshop skills. Leadership roles include serving on the Board of Directors for the Intermountain Professional Photographers Association and as President of the Salt Lake Photographic Print Society, along with teaching digital imaging at the Salt Lake Art Center. Dana holds a Juris Doctor degree and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Utah, supplemented by a Master of Photography designation from the Professional Photographers of America.
