Travis Maak is a distinguished orthopaedic surgeon specializing in surgical sports medicine, currently serving as the Head Orthopaedic Team Physician for the Utah Jazz since December 2014 and holding leadership roles at the University of Utah Health as the Director of Sports Medicine Fellowship and a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. Maak's expertise encompasses complex knee reconstruction, cartilage restoration, and hip preservation, including femoroacetabular impingement. Prior to these roles, Maak was the Assistant Team Physician for the New York Football Giants and completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
