Paul A. Hagstrom

Dr. Hagstrom attended the University of Wisconsin where he earned his Master's and Ph.D. Since joining Hamilton College in 1991, Hagstrom has published many papers, mainly focusing on his interest and teaching field, "The Economics of Poverty." His current work focuses on the concept of financial inclusion, mobility, and economic integration of refugees in the United States.

He has served as the Chair of the Economics Department and as the Director of the college's Arthur Levitt Public Affairs Center. He continues his association with the Levitt Center by working with students interested in social entrepreneurship.
