Kate Tindal

Kate Tindal, CPA, CGA has a diverse work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Kate started their career at The Kingston Whig Standard in 1997, where they worked in the finance department until 2000. Kate then moved on to Kingston General Hospital in 2001, where they worked in finance for a year. In 2004, Kate joined the City of Kingston as the Manager of Accounting until 2007. Kate then joined Utilities Kingston as the Manager of Finance from 2007 to 2014. Kate then worked as the Director of Finance/Treasurer at Loyalist Township from 2014 to 2018. Kate became the Superintendent of Finance and Business Services at Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board from 2018 to 2019. Most recently, they held the position of Director of Finance/Treasurer at the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands from 2019 to 2023. Currently, Kate is the Director of Corporate Services at Utilities Kingston.

Kate Tindal, CPA, CGA obtained their degree in Business Admin - Accounting from St. Lawrence College in the years 1993 to 1996. Later, in the year 2001, they achieved their CGA (Certified General Accountant) certification from the Certified General Accountants Association.
