Merisa Stacy is a seasoned Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst with expertise in various GIS applications and tools, currently serving as a GIS Analyst III at UDC since September 2019, where responsibilities include acting as a Scrum Master and GIS IT Business Systems Analyst. With prior experience as a GIS Technician at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and specialist roles at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Merisa has handled complex archaeology projects, conducted historical literature reviews, and managed compliance with burial site preservation regulations. Merisa possesses strong technical skills in ArcPro, SQL Developer, and technical business writing, complemented by an educational background that includes a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an Associate’s Degree from Santa Barbara City College.
