Alice Gunn

Alice Gunn has a strong background in the energy industry, with a focus on commercial markets and pricing. Alice worked at Utility Warehouse as the Head of Commercial Optimisation - Energy, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they held senior roles at SSE Energy Solutions, including Head of Commercial Markets and Pricing, where they were responsible for pricing, hedging strategy, and building data science capabilities. Alice also worked as a Knowledge Transfer Manager at SSE Airtricity, supporting delivery in a funded project on small-scale storage and demand-side response solutions. Additionally, Alice worked as a Research Engineer at the University of Reading, where they won awards for their engineering doctorate research on energy system models. Alice served as a Visiting Researcher at the UNFCCC, advising the Haiti Government on INDC submission. Alice began their career as a Policy Analyst at SSE plc, specializing in energy efficiency and policy development.
