Jonathan Tugwell

Jonathan Tugwell has extensive work experience in the energy industry, with a focus on energy storage development and engineering. Jonathan currently holds the position of Director of Energy Storage Development & Engineering at UtilityInnovation Group, starting in February 2022. Prior to this, Jonathan worked at PowerSecure, Inc. where they held various roles. From May 2017 to February 2022, they served as a Project Development Engineer. From May 2012 to May 2017, they worked as an Application Engineer. And from May 2006 to May 2012, they were a Computer Aided Design Drafter.

Jonathan Tugwell completed their education at North Carolina State University. From 2007 to 2012, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Later, from 2017 to 2020, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General.
