Giri Prathivadi

Vice President of Engineering at Utiltyx

Giri Prathivadi has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Giri started their career as a Research Associate at IISc Bangalore in 1992 before moving on to work as a Member Technical Staff at C-DAC, where they played a key role in the development and implementation of India's first distributed power system management solution.

In 1995, Prathivadi joined Hewlett-Packard as a Solution Architect, focusing on Integrated Management Solutions targeted at ISPs and large enterprises. During their tenure, they worked on IT service management, content delivery network management, and enterprise infrastructure management.

Prathivadi then joined Celstream Technologies in 2005 as a Principal Architect, leading projects in the telecom and media-entertainment business units. Giri'sresponsibilities included enterprise and mobility solutions, such as digital signage, real-time fright logistics management, and dynamic ad insertion on mobile TV.

In 2008, Prathivadi co-founded and served as the CTO of EAFT Technologies India Pvt Ltd. Giri played a crucial role in defining product and technology roadmaps and driving sales for the company's enterprise mobility solutions. During their time at EAFT, the company successfully raised funds and generated significant revenue.

Prathivadi worked as a Master Architect at HPI from 2015 to 2017, where they contributed to architectural design and strategy. Giri then held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Power Research and Development Consultants Pvt Ltd from 2017 to 2022, overseeing the company's technological advancements as well as serving as a key decision-maker.

Currently, Prathivadi holds the position of Vice President of Engineering at Utiltyx, a role they assumed in early 2023.

Giri Prathivadi obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Mysore. Giri attended the university from 1988 to 1992.
