Brad McCarter

Brad McCarter, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and investment management. Currently serving as Managing Director of Private Equity at UTIMCO since December 2022, Brad is a senior member of the team managing a substantial $80 billion endowment for the University of Texas and Texas A&M universities. Previously, from March 2016 to December 2022, Brad held the position of Associate Director of Private Investments at The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, where involvement in managing a $14 billion endowment included strategic philanthropic initiatives. Brad's prior experience includes roles as a Vice President at The Carlyle Group (AlpInvest Partners) and positions at StepStone Group, focusing on research, due diligence, and asset management services. Brad holds a B.B.A. in Business Economics, summa cum laude, from the University of San Diego and is pursuing further education at the University of Oxford.
