Shailendra Kumar

Shailendra Kumar is a seasoned professional in the microfinance sector with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving in the Micro Banking division of Utkarsh Small Finance Bank since August 2024, Shailendra previously held the position of Vice President of Sales at Sindhuja Microcredit Pvt. Ltd. from March 2018 to July 2024. Prior to that, Shailendra worked at Utkarsh Small Finance Bank and Utkarsh MFIs, where responsibilities included managing operations across multiple branches and developing strategies to enhance business volume and profitability. Early career experience includes a role as Operational Manager at SKS Microfinance Limited from November 2006 to November 2007, where Shailendra focused on operations, sales, business development, and credit appraisals. Educational qualifications consist of an MBA in Marketing and a PGMBA in Business Management from IMS Ranchi University.
