Jose Rojas, PhD, RRT, RPFT, FAARC, currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the UTMB School of Health Professions since June 2022. With a tenure at UTMB beginning in August 2009, Rojas holds the position of Associate Professor and Chairman of the Department of Respiratory Care within the School of Health Professions. Previous experience includes a role as Director of the Medical Education Review Program at Ross University from 2009 to 2010. Rojas earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Cell Physiology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center between 1995 and 2000.
