Brendan Waters has extensive experience as a CFO, business leader, and advisor. Brendan is currently the Owner of Cruachan Advisory Ltd, a company they founded in 2020 to help build high-growth technology companies. Brendan serves as the CFO of Utopi since 2021. In addition, Brendan has held part-time CFO roles at Frog Systems Limited, Optiseller, and SHARKTOWER. Prior to these ventures, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Wilson Design Source Supply and Dog Digital. Brendan also served as the Finance Director at FanDuel and Director of Corporate Finance at Johnston Carmichael Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers. Brendan has expertise in raising equity funding for technology companies and has managed investments for the Scottish Investment Bank.
Brendan Waters obtained a BA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Strathclyde, completing their studies from 1994 to 1997. Brendan also holds a certification as a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
