Marco Andrade Brandão

Marco Andrade Brandão serves as the Director of New Business Development at Instituto Boas Ondas since September 2023, aiming to facilitate social and environmental transformation. Concurrently, Marco has been the Managing Director at Utopia since April 2018, focusing on urban design to innovate slum development on a global scale. Previously, Marco held the position of Country Manager for Brazil at Boma Global from August 2019 to May 2022, promoting transformative learning experiences. As Executive Director and Partner at Guru Produções Culturais from January 2010 to 2019, Marco oversaw the production of TEDxRio, collaborating with significant organizations. Marco’s expertise extends to a consultancy role for TEDGlobal 2014 and a background in advertising as an Art Director at BVK. Academic credentials include an M.B.A. in Project Management from Ibmec and a Master’s in Advertising and Communication Strategies from Elisava School of Design and Engineering.
