Tona Foster

Tona Foster has been working in the field of network engineering and operations since 1997. Her most recent role is Network Operations Manager at UTOPIA Fiber, which they have held since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Network Engineer at Utopia from 2014-2022. From 2010-2014, they held two roles at Woodbury Technologies, Inc., Network & Systems Engineer and Network System Engineer. From 2006-2010, they were a System Engineer and Network Engineer at Stability Networks. Tona was also a Network Engineer at The Living Planet Aquarium from 2010-2014. From 2003-2006, they were a DSL Technical Support at Qwest Communications, and from 2001-2003 they were a MSNIA Executive at Teleperformance USA. Her first role was Technical Support Engineer Tier 1 and Service Sales Representative at Modus Media International from 1997-2001.

Tona Foster has a long history of education and certifications. Tona obtained an Associates of Applied Science degree in Computer Networking Technology from Utah Valley State College between 1998 and 2000. Tona then attended Provo College from 1999 to 2000, earning an Associates degree in Computer Science. In 2004, they began their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at the University of Phoenix and completed it in 2006. Tona then attended TechSkills from 2006 to 2009, earning an MCSA in Microsoft Certifications. Tona also earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Nokia and CompTIA, including the Nokia Network Routing Specialist I (NRS I) Certification and Security +.
