Isabel Arends is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Science at Utrecht University, where Isabel has been since July 2018. Hiervoor zijn UU Holding BV en UMC Utrecht Holding BV opgericht. Zij werken samen in Utrecht Holdings. Utrecht Holdings beheert en exploiteert octrooien voor Universiteit Utrecht en UMC Utrecht. Daarnaast begeleidt en ondersteunt de organisatie ondernemende medewerkers en/of de initiatiefnemers van nieuwe spin off bedrijven tot ze op eigen benen kunnen staan.
