Amir Fattahi

Amir Fattahi is a researcher at TNO since June 2019, currently contributing to the ESTRAC project team and developing the IESA-Opt energy system model, which significantly enhances TNO's energy modeling capabilities. Previously, Amir founded Homafan Systems Company, managing drone design projects and overseeing all aspects of the business from manufacturing to sales and financial management. An internship at Turbine Machine Middle-East involved project design collaboration for turbine maintenance projects. Early career experience includes a trainee role at Noorab Control Company, assisting in various projects. Amir Fattahi holds a Ph.D. in Energy and Environment from the University of Groningen and multiple Master's degrees in Resource Economics, Sustainable Development, and Aerospace Engineering from prestigious institutions.
