Bas de Haas

Bas de Haas is an accomplished professional in the field of music informatics, serving as the CEO and Founder of Chordify since March 2012, where the focus is on music information retrieval, digital signal processing, and machine learning. Bas completed a PhD in Music Information Retrieval at Utrecht University in 2011 and has since contributed as a postdoctoral researcher at the same institution. Prior experience includes freelance web development and a research internship at the Universiteit van Amsterdam, where foundational research skills were developed under the guidance of Prof. Henkjan Honing. Bas holds a Master's degree in Cognitive Artificial Intelligence from Utrecht University.
