Jan de Mooij

Jan de Mooij currently serves as a Consultant Software Engineer and Data Scientist at A Consultancy Company, where responsibilities include developing algorithms for energy trading and sustainable energy assets, as well as redesigning software services for scalability. Concurrently, Jan has been a Scientific Programmer and PhD candidate at Utrecht University since 2018, focusing on multi-agent systems and agent-based simulations. Previous roles include internships and positions at TNO and Universiteit Utrecht, where Jan provided technical support, programming expertise, and development leadership for various research projects. Jan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Artificial Intelligence from Utrecht University, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field.
