Reza Derakhshani

Reza Derakhshani is a highly experienced researcher and academic with a strong background in geology and earth science, particularly in tectonics. Currently serving as a Researcher at Utrecht University since October 2018, Reza has held an Associate Professor position at Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman since 2005, where prior experience includes serving as Assistant Professor. Additionally, Reza held the role of General Manager at the Department of Environment of Kerman Province from 2005 to 2007 and served as Chief Advisor to the CEO of the Sistan and Baluchestan Regional Water Authority from 2000 to 2005. Reza's educational credentials include a PhD and MSc in Geology/Earth Science from Shiraz University, complemented by a BSc in General Geology/Earth Science from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman.
