Utrechts Landschap
Hens Runhaar is a Full Professor and Associate Professor of Environmental Governance at Universiteit Utrecht since October 2003. In addition, Hens Runhaar has served as a Visiting Professor and Buitengewoon hoogleraar Beheer van biodiversiteit en agrarisch landschap at Wageningen University & Research since September 2015. Hens Runhaar is also a bestuurslid at Utrechts Landschap since April 2016 and a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee on Society for Vogelbescherming Nederland since March 2022. Additional roles include bestuurslid for Stichting Dassenwerkgroep Utrecht en 't Gooi since 2012, a member of the Societal Advisory Council on Faunaschade at BIJ12 since January 2017, and various editorial positions, including associate editor for the journal Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems and a member of the editorial board for Earth System Governance journal. Hens Runhaar obtained a PhD from Delft University of Technology in 2002 and an MA from the University of Twente in 1994.
