Joana Mota Rego, AICA has a wealth of experience in compliance and legal support. From 2018 to present, they have been the Head of Compliance at Utrust, a Web3 payments technology company. Prior to that, they were a Science and Technology Management Fellowship at Universidade do Minho from 2017 to 2018, and a Technician in Legal Support at APAV | Apoio à Vítima | Victim Support Portugal from 2015 to 2017.
Joana Mota Rego, AICA has a diverse educational background. Joana obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law from the Universidade de Coimbra in 2014, followed by a 3rd year Bachelor's degree in Law from Utrecht University in 2013. In 2017, they completed a General Management degree from Católica Porto Business School in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2021, they completed Postgraduate Studies in Securities Law and Banking Law from Faculdade de Direito - Católica no Porto. Additionally, in 2020, they obtained an Advanced International Diploma in Anti Money Laundering from the International Compliance Association.
