Pavithran Ayyala

Pavithran Ayyala has a strong background in IT leadership and digital transformation. Pavithran currently works at Utthunga as the Head of Digital IT Services Business and CIO. In this role, they are responsible for building and leading the next billion-dollar business, overseeing CIO services, digital IT consulting, data analytics, AIML, industrial cloud, enterprise business, and managed IT services. Pavithran is also responsible for IT transformation, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure.

Prior to Utthunga, Pavithran worked at Neuland Laboratories Limited as the CIDO and Vice President of Information Technology. Here, they led the company's digital transformation, SAP ERP, cybersecurity, and IT services group. Pavithran was also a member of the executive and management committees.

Before that, Pavithran worked at Yokogawa India Limited as the Head of Digital Strategy and Additional General Manager. In this position, they oversaw the company's information technology group, digital transformation initiatives, and offshore development center. Pavithran also served as an enterprise architect, focusing on digital transformation, DXP, smart cities, and IT/OT initiatives/projects.

Prior to Yokogawa, Pavithran worked at Flowserve as the Head of IT and Asia Pacific IT Leader. In this role, they led IT operations and innovation in the Asia Pacific region. Pavithran focused on creating and sustaining innovative manufacturing/SCM analytics, automation, IT, and technical solutions for O&G organizations.

Earlier in their career, Pavithran worked at Dell as an IT Program Manager, overseeing ERP rollouts across the Asia region. Pavithran also had roles at Hewlett Packard as a Senior Software Engineer/Technical Leader, Sony Electronics as a Trainee Software Engineer, and Kshema Technologies (currently Mphasis) as a Software Developer.

Pavithran Ayyala has a diverse education history. In 1994, they graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Sri Krishnadevaraya University. Following that, from 1997 to 2000, Pavithran pursued a Master's degree in Computer Applications at Fergusson College. In 2021, they completed a Data Science Certification Program with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode. In 2022, Pavithran enrolled in the National Law School of India University, where they are currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Cyber Law & Cyber Forensics. Additionally, Pavithran has obtained various certifications on topics like Natural Language Processing, Metaverse and NFTs for Marketing, and Performance Management from institutions like LinkedIn and IIM-Kozhikode.
