Chris Gibson (FMAAT)

Chris Gibson (FMAAT) has extensive experience in governance, risk management, and internal audit across various public sector organizations. Currently serving as a Democratic Services Officer at Uttlesford District Council since December 2019, Chris previously held multiple senior roles at East Herts District Council from January 2001 to July 2016, including Head of Governance & Risk Management and Internal Audit and Business Improvement Manager. Chris's career began at the London Borough of Hackney, where responsibilities ranged from Audit Assistant to Audit and Special Investigations Manager over a tenure of over 25 years. Education was completed at Queen Elizabeth's Boys School in Barnet from 1967 to 1974.
