Daan Hoek

Daan Hoek is a co-founder of UV Smart, with extensive experience in commercial strategy and market research. Notable prior roles include a commercial internship at BRASSIVOIRE under The HEINEKEN Company, and positions at Philips where Daan contributed to the launch of healthcare solutions in Africa and managed logistics for Community Life Centers. Earlier experience includes sales support at Integrated Chemicals Specialties BV and a summer internship at ASD Aruba. Daan holds a Master of Science in International Business and Emerging Markets from The University of Edinburgh, alongside a Bachelor of Business Administration with honors in Marketing, Sales & Trade from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, complemented by an exchange program in Political Science at Yeungnam University.
