Anesh Singh

Anesh Singh is an accomplished academic and leader in institutional advancement with significant experience in the higher education sector. Currently serving as the Director of Institutional Advancement at the University of the Western Cape since June 2021, Anesh previously held key roles at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, including Executive Director of the UKZN Foundation, where the focus was on securing donor funding and enhancing alumni networks. Anesh's academic leadership experience encompasses positions as Dean and Head of School in Accounting, Economics and Finance, and Associate Professor in Marketing, demonstrating a strong background in curriculum development, teaching, and research. Prior roles include senior lecturer positions at the University of Durban Westville and the establishment of a successful computer training business. Anesh Singh holds a Doctor of Business Administration and an MBA from the University of Durban Westville, alongside a Bachelor of Arts degree.
