Marquard Franklin Simpson

Marquard Franklin Simpson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in academic administration and health care management. Currently serving as the Community and Health Sciences Faculty Manager at the University of the Western Cape since March 2009, Marquard leads various operational and strategic initiatives, advising the Dean on critical matters and overseeing student enrolment and quality assurance processes. Prior to this role, Marquard was the Primary Health Care Manager at the Department of Health from February 2004 to March 2009. Marquard holds a Master of Philosophy in Engineering Management and a Postgraduate Degree in Industrial Administration from the University of Cape Town, along with a Bachelor's degree in Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
