Raedene Lucas currently serves as a Research Assistant at the University of the Western Cape, supporting the UNESCO Chair for Sport, Development, Peace, and Olympic Education under Prof. Marion Keim. In addition to this role, Raedene is actively involved with the Youth Network for Sport, Development, and Peace, where participation as a Student Facilitator and leadership as Chairperson and Vice Chair have been undertaken since 2018. As Director of Raecovery Sport Massage since 2018, Raedene has contributed to the sports massage field. Previous experience includes content writing at Tate International School and lecturing at the University of the Western Cape, alongside early experiences as a Student Facilitator at the same university. Educational qualifications include a Master of Philosophy in Sport for Development, a Postgraduate Degree in Sports for Development, and a Bachelor's Degree in Sport, Recreation, and Exercise Science, all obtained from the University of the Western Cape. Raedene also holds a Certificate in Sports Massage from eta College.
