Robert Charles la Vita

Robert Charles La Vita is an accomplished educator and researcher with significant experience in English Literature and Film Studies. Currently serving as the Head of Department at SABIS Educational Systems, Inc., and a Professional Tutor at the University of the Western Cape, Robert provides instruction and assessment to students pursuing their Education and Arts degrees. As an MA Candidate, research focuses on the films of Ousmane Sembene, acclaimed as the "Father of African Cinema." Additionally, Robert holds a position as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Humanities Research, contributing to discussions on decolonial texts in Sembene's works. Previous roles include Executive Secretary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where Robert managed administrative tasks for a large membership, and Zone Leader, overseeing missionary operations across major UK cities.
