Kenneth Connell Mbbs

Kenneth Connell MBBS, DM, PhD (KCL), PGCUTL, FACP, FACC, FRCP (UK) currently holds multiple positions at The University of the West Indies, including Deputy Dean of Recruitment & Outreach, Public Orator, and Tenured Senior Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacology. Kenneth is also serving as President of the Healthy Caribbean Coalition and Chairman of the Barbados National Drug Formulary Committee, overseeing drug management in public health. Kenneth's clinical expertise includes serving as a Hypertension Specialist at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and has held roles with major organizations, including the World Health Organization and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from The University of the West Indies, a Doctor of Medicine in Internal Medicine, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Pharmacology from King's College London.
