Paul Gaynor has extensive experience in academia and software engineering. Currently serving as a researcher and lecturer at The University of the West Indies since August 2006, Paul teaches courses in Computer Vision, Object Oriented Programming, and several other subjects, while also engaging in research and administrative responsibilities. Additionally, Paul has worked as a Database Application Consultant at ProactiveSolutions since April 2012, where notable projects include deploying ETL for Bayesian analysis and developing a data ingestion pipeline. Previously, as Software Engineering Team Lead at PeopleCorp Technologies Ltd, Paul successfully implemented financial systems and scheduling applications. Paul holds a PhD in Computer Science and multiple relevant certifications, including a recent certificate in Machine Learning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
