Moritz Willy Becher serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Lead GPU Software Engineer at UX3D since June 2018, where responsibilities include acting as Product Owner for Gestaltor, overseeing the Khronos glTF-Sample-Viewer, and leading various commissioned projects while managing a small team. Becher has previously held roles as a GPU Software Engineer, contributing to the rendering engine for Gestaltor and presenting at SIGGRAPH 2019, as well as engaging in cross-platform development and creating a Python-based glTF Blender importer and exporter. Prior to UX3D, Becher worked as a Research Assistant at the Technical University of Munich, focusing on fluid dynamics and deep neural networks, and at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, developing augmented reality tools for educational purposes. Moritz Willy Becher holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Informatics: Games Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
