Gene Kamenez

Gene Kamenez has a long and varied career in UX/UI design. In 2011, they began their career as a freelancer, mastering Adobe tools and mobile application design, especially for iOS. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a UX/UI Designer at Synesis, leading the design creation process of mobile applications and web site designs, as well as being responsible for the whole UX cycle and then the UI of the mobile app. Gene also conducted several A/B tests and user validation sessions. From 2015 to 2019, Gene worked at Capsilon as a Senior Product Designer, driving the design of complex solutions for web, desktop, and mobile applications for the US mortgage industry. Gene also led the creation and definition of the design system and common design language, and adopted and utilized best design practices, techniques, and tools to optimize the design process. Finally, Gene is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Uxcel Inc.

Gene Kamenez obtained a Bachelor's degree in 2007 from Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. Gene also obtained several certifications from Coursera Course Certificates and LinkedIn, including Information Design and Learn Sketch: Style Guides & Asset Libraries in 2016, Design Principles: an Introduction and Human-Centered Design: an Introduction in 2016, and User Experience: Research & Prototyping and Gamification in 2012.
