Paola Miani

Paola Miani is a highly experienced design professional currently serving as the Design Integration Lead at bp, where the focus is on delivering value through design for business, people, and the planet. Miani operates as a Lead Service Designer and Sustainable Innovation consultant, assisting organizations in creating future-proof services. As a Course Tutor in the Design Thinking Innovation Accelerator at Central Saint Martins, Miani imparts knowledge to students in a structured program. Additionally, Miani has been a mentor at UXPA UK since 2015, supporting UX professionals in career progression. Previously, in various roles, including Head of Design Culture at Lloyds Banking Group and Head of UX/CX at ORM London, Miani developed design strategies, fostered customer-centered cultures, and led user experience improvements across multiple platforms. Miani’s education includes a Business Sustainability Management qualification from the University of Cambridge and a Master's in Marketing and Commercial Management from ESIC Business & Marketing School.
