Anke Van Quickelberghe is a Clinical Research Coordinator at UZ Gent since March 2020, specializing in coordinating Phase I, Ib, and II clinical trials, including healthy volunteer and oncology trials. Prior to UZ Gent, Anke served as an R&D Scientist Microbiology (consultant) at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from September 2017 to March 2020, focusing on R&D and lifecycle management projects in microbiology. Additionally, Anke worked as an R&D Life Sciences Consultant at Ardena and completed internships as a teacher intern at Stad Gent. Anke's research experience includes multiple internships at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and UZ Brussel, where research topics ranged from Parkinson's disease models to human embryo implantation. Anke holds a Master of Education in Health Sciences from Ghent University and two degrees in Biomedical Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
