Bart Coomans

Bart Coomans has extensive experience in telecommunications and IT management, currently serving as an Expert Telecom and Manager of the Call Center at UZ Gent since January 2010. Prior roles include Head of Service Management for SoDT Payments at ING from 2008 to 2009, and various managerial positions at St. Jude Medical from 2001 to 2007, including ICT Infrastructure Manager for Western Europe. Earlier in their career, Bart held positions as a System Engineer at EDS (1996-2001) and Supervisor of the European Helpdesk at Summagraphics (1994-1996), along with roles as a Support Engineer at A-Line Technologies and Tritech in 1993. Bart Coomans holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Electro-Mechanics from HOGENT and attended St-Paulusinstituut in Gent.
