Philippe Decruyenaere

Philippe Decruyenaere is a Hematologist at UZ Gent, where involvement began in October 2016. In addition to clinical practice, Philippe serves as a PhD Fellow at the Center of Medical Genetics and Cancer Research Institute Ghent, focusing on research related to non-coding RNAs in lymphoma since October 2020. A research stay was completed at the Division of Cancer Genome Research, DKFZ Heidelberg from January to May 2023. Philippe's education includes a bachelor's degree in Medicine from Ghent University (2009-2012), a master's degree in Medicine from Ghent University (2013-2016), a residency in Internal Medicine and Hematology at Ghent University (2016-2023), and a brief academic exchange at Beijing Tongren Hospital and Medizinische Hochschule Hannover in 2016.
