Birgitt Allaert

Birgitt Allaert is currently an Urology Resident at UZ Leuven, a position held since October 2024, following two years as an Urology Resident at AZ Delta and two years as a General Surgery Resident at OLV Ziekenhuis Aalst-Asse-Ninove. Earlier experience includes a brief stint as a General Surgery Resident at AZ Zeno in 2020. Birgitt completed medical education at the Faculteit Geneeskunde KU Leuven, obtaining a Master's degree in Medicine in 2020 and a Bachelor's degree in Medicine in 2017, preceded by a High School Diploma in Sciences & Mathematics from Sint-Vincentius College Ieper in 2014. During medical training, a range of internships covered various specialties, including Urology, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Neurology, and Internal Medicine.
