Hendrik Celen

Hendrik Celen is a seasoned cardiologist with extensive experience in various healthcare settings. Since January 2016, Hendrik has served as an MD at Www.cardiologie-bertem.be and has held the position of head of the cardiology department at Heilig hart ziekenhuis Leuven since September 1998, where responsibilities include intensive medicine, cardiology consultancy, electrophysiology, pacemaker implantation, as well as outpatient and preventive medicine. Additionally, Hendrik has been involved in cardiac catheterization at UZ Leuven since September 1997 and has previously worked at Endocard from September 2006 to 2015, focusing on outpatient clinic services, and at the Hart-en Sport Academie Nottebohm from September 2003 to 2015, providing consultancy in sports cardiology. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Medicine from KU Leuven, along with business training from Vlerick Business School and a Bachelor's degree from Hasselt University, underscoring a strong foundation in both medical and business principles.
