Jef van Den Eynde

Jef Van den Eynde is an Internal Medicine Resident at UZ Leuven since October 2024 and has been a Scientific Researcher at KU Leuven since August 2017. Jef has developed expertise in designing experiments and analyzing data through diverse research experiences, including roles as Research Intern at prestigious institutions, and serving as a Local Investigator for CovidSurg studies. Jef’s previous positions include Clinical Intern at UZ Leuven, Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and various internships at renowned medical facilities, such as The Hospital for Sick Children. Jef holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from KU Leuven, along with comprehensive training in laboratory animal science and participation in an honours research programme. Additionally, Jef has contributed to student research initiatives as Chair and Board Member of the Leuvense Vereniging der Student-Onderzoekers (LVSO).
