Jo Vanvoorden

Jo Vanvoorden currently serves as a Senior Linux System Engineer at UZ Leuven since October 2018, and has been with KU Leuven since January 2006 in various roles, including Team Leader for central ICTs Infrastructure - Linux, overseeing a team of five system engineers. Responsibilities at KU Leuven include hosting applications such as Blackboard and managing LAMP environments, alongside system administration for HPC clusters and various database servers. Jo holds a Master's degree in Information Communication Technology from Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg and a degree in Industrial Science from Technisch Instituut Heilig Hart - Hasselt.
