Tom Depuydt

Tom Depuydt is a prominent figure in the field of Medical Radiation Physics, currently serving as the Head of Medical Radiation Physics at UZ Leuven and Director of Physics for the Radiation Oncology department and ParTICLe Proton Therapy Center since June 2014. Alongside these roles, Tom holds the position of Associate Professor at KU Leuven and has been a Teaching School Faculty member for the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology since 2010, contributing to advanced technology courses globally. Previous experience includes roles as Certified Medical Radiation Physicist at UZ Brussel and UZ Leuven, as well as a Project Engineer at VRT. Tom's educational background includes a PhD in Medical Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, an Executive Development Program at Vlerick Business School, and multiple degrees in Electronic Engineering and Medical Radiation Physics from KU Leuven.
