Caro de Weerdt

Caro De Weerdt is a Clinical Study Coordinator at UZA, overseeing clinical studies in oncology with a focus on neuroendocrine tumors since October 2023. Previously, Caro conducted research as a PhD Researcher at KU Leuven, exploring PET-MR imaging of brain and spinal cord targets in ALS patients. Caro has also gained experience as a Research Intern at the University of Antwerp, investigating the effects of isoflurane anesthesia on SV2A PET readings, and has worked in various roles including as a Store Cashier at Carrefour, Volunteer Assistant at Voxdale, and Event Assistant at Maison Rouge. Caro holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Antwerp and has foundational education from Koninklijk Atheneum Ekeren.
