Celine Maes

Celine Maes is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in project coordination and clinical application within the medical and research sectors. Currently serving as a Project Coordinator at UZA since September 2024, Celine previously worked as a Clinical Application Specialist at icometrix from September 2021 to August 2024, where responsibilities included bridging commercial and R&D teams, developing educational materials, and training healthcare professionals on AI-based brain analysis. Celine's academic background comprises a PhD in motor control and neuroplasticity from KU Leuven, with significant research on aging and motor performance, and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from KU Leuven and the University of Cape Town. Additionally, Celine has authored multiple scientific publications, supervised students, and gained experience in various roles from physiotherapy to administrative assistance.
