Aurelie Nowack

Aurelie Nowack is the current Principal at V-Bio Ventures. Aurelie has over 10 years of experience in business development and technology acquisition in the life science industry. Prior to their current role, Aurelie was the Manager of Technology Acquisition and Collaborations for Europe at CropDesign - BASF Plant Science from January 2012 to October 2016. Aurelie has also served as the Business Development Manager at VIB from November 2016 to May 2022, and as the Licensing Manager at VIB from February 2009 to January 2012. Aurelie's experience also includes a research position as a post-doctoral researcher at MPIPZ - Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research from December 2008 to January 2009.

Aurelie Nowack has a PhD in Genetics from the University of Cologne. Aurelie also holds an MSc in Plant Biotechnology from Wageningen University & Research and a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology from Imperial College London. Finally, they have an IB from Frankfurt International School.

Aurelie Nowack reports to Christina Takke, Managing Partner. They are on a team with Ward Capoen - Partner, Martin Solleveld - Finance Manager, and Katja Rosenkranz - Partner.
